Alternatives · Zapier

Zapier alternative for
multi-product app studios.

Qualia is a portfolio-aware decision layer for small app and game studios. It monitors what's happening across your live products, detects what changed, and drafts the next move. A human on your team signs off before anything ships.

Zapier is the tool studios reach for when they want to wire two services together; Qualia is what you reach for when the question stops being 'connect A to B' and becomes 'what should we do about product 7 this week'.

Comparison

Qualia vs Zapier.

Side-by-side on the dimensions that matter most when you're a small studio running 3-20 live products. Where Zapier's behavior is configurable, we describe the default rather than asserting a single answer.

Dimension Qualia Zapier
Primary use case Monitors a portfolio of live apps and games, detects what changed, and drafts the next move for a human to approve. A trigger-action automation platform that moves data and fires actions between apps.
Human-in-the-loop by default Yes. Qualia drafts; a human signs off before anything ships. Each Zap fires on its own once a trigger hits; approval steps exist but aren't the default shape.
What you assemble A portfolio-aware monitoring layer; you connect sources, Qualia builds the view. Individual Zaps you author and maintain, one trigger and action chain at a time.
Where the judgment lives Qualia drafts the next move; a human signs off. In the Zap's rules and filters, written by the person who built it.

Who this is for

Small studios.
Real portfolios.

Qualia is built for small multi-product app and game studios: teams of 2 to 10 people running 3 to 20 live products at once. If you're a solo dev on one app, or an enterprise org with a dedicated ops team per title, Qualia is probably not the right shape for you.

If you've already built Zaps for your stores and analytics and now spend your day reading the outputs, the comparison below is for you.

FAQ

Questions studios ask
before switching.

Can I rebuild Qualia as a set of Zaps?

You can rebuild the plumbing. You can't easily rebuild the per-product context and the drafted-move record without writing, and then maintaining, a second product alongside your real one. That maintenance is what Qualia takes off your plate.

Does Qualia replace the Zaps we already run?

Not usually. Most studios keep their Zaps for narrow trigger-action plumbing (e.g. 'new review, ping Slack') and add Qualia for the layer above: monitoring the portfolio and drafting the next move per product.

Will Qualia trigger actions across my tools the way Zapier does?

Qualia drafts the next move and waits for a human to approve it. It does not fire actions across your tools without that approval.

How does pricing compare to Zapier's task-based pricing?

Zapier charges by tasks consumed across Zaps, current tiers are on their pricing page. Qualia is priced per studio, not per task, so cost is predictable as you add products. Talk to us for a quote.
